Swirls Studio

Swirls Studio is your engineering partner for apps built with AI and Swirls as the backend. Work alongside an engineer for technical advice, hands-on implementation, or training on your own application. Platform training teaches you to use Swirls as the backend for the hyperpersonalized apps you build, with skills you can apply to future applications. Studio can help with an app you are building or already using, including production support under an agreed scope.

Studio’s approach is built with AI, shaped by experience. You bring your understanding of the business; Studio’s engineers bring experience from Fortune 500 environments and large-scale distributed systems to the design, implementation, and review. Choose what to delegate and what you want to learn. You retain business direction and acceptance decisions, with engineering responsibilities agreed before the engagement begins.

Swirls is the backend for hyperpersonalized applications: software shaped around your business rules, customers, and processes. We own and maintain this backend. Existing capabilities such as user access, scheduled processes, and activity records reduce repeated backend development. Clients have separate data and access permissions. Your app’s interface is built and hosted separately from Swirls; Studio can help with that implementation, hosting, and support under an agreed scope.

The public assessments and IT review resources help you understand security and reliability concerns and prepare evidence for your reviewers. You can use them independently or discuss the findings with Studio.

Assess an existing app or a new plan

Choose App assessment from Resources. Select an existing app or a new app plan, add any relevant context, and copy the prompt into your coding session. It loads the Swirls readiness skill; if your assistant cannot retrieve the skill, download and attach it to the session.

The assessment records what was inspected, the checks that ran, findings, and missing evidence. It separates verified Swirls capabilities from changes still needed in the app, integrations, or operations. An existing app gets a retrofit plan that preserves useful code; a new app gets design risks and assumptions rather than claims of tested behavior.

The skill creates a new local swirls-readiness/<assessment-id>/ directory with:

• REPORT.md: scope, findings, evidence, Swirls fit, remediation, and recommended help.
• assessment.json: the same decisions in a versioned structured format.
• IT-REVIEW.md: architecture, controls, unresolved risks, and verification steps.
• STUDIO-BRIEF.md: an unsent brief, artifact manifest, and a short inquiry summary for the partnership form.

The skill operates under your coding assistant's permissions and data settings. It does not change the app or send artifacts to Studio. Recommendations can include self-service, a working session, FDE implementation, or specialist review. Read the fictional example report for an illustration of the output.

Prepare for IT and security review

Use Prepare for IT and security review with the completed packet and authorized evidence. Your reviewer is asked to independently verify the claims, identify blockers and missing evidence, and record the conditions for approval.

Share the packet through an approved channel. Copying the prompt does not grant access or send files. A source assessment is not certification, and using Swirls alone does not establish that an app satisfies your organization's requirements.

Partner with Studio

Request a partnership with your email address. You can also share your name, company, role, and a short description of the app you want to build or the help you need. The team reviews these requests alongside Swirls private-beta applications and follows up by email.

Studio is not open for sign-in or account creation yet. Submitting a request does not create an account, grant Studio access, or start a paid engagement. You can use the public assessment and IT review resources while we discuss your project.

Studio can help with a specific engineering problem, prepare an app for production, or work with you as an ongoing engineering and operations partner. Scope, costs, responsibilities, and support coverage are agreed before the engagement begins.
